How long will it take to get my order?
This depends on which frame you select and whether you want prescription lenses or not:
Regular (Non-Prescription) Items: If the item is in stock, it will ship within 1 - 3 days of your order by Priority Mail unless you request another shipping option (see "What are my shipping options"). If the frame is not in stock, it can take up to a week or longer for your frame to ship, or we may request that the manufacturer drop ship the frame directly to you to expedite the order.
Prescription Orders: Items that have an Authentic Rx option are made at the manufacturer's lab and can take from 5 days to 4 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. Items that are made in the Athletic Optics lab usually take about one to two weeks. Swimming goggles or dive masks with Stock Rx lenses usually ship within 1-3 days since these are off-the-shelf items.

How do I determine my frame size?
Most of the sunglasses we offer only come in one size so the frame size is shown for reference. The frame size refers to the width of one lens, in millimeters. Some of the protective goggles that we offer, such as Rec Specs goggles, come in a variety of frame sizes. If two numbers are shown, the first number refers to the width of one lens, while the second number refers to the top-to-bottom measurement of one lens. Generally speaking, frames in the 48 - 52 range are considered youth sizes (or for small adults), 53 - 57 is considered medium, and over 57 is considered large. Please note that in wrap style frames, the frame size number may appear large, but this is because the lens wraps around. If you are unsure which size to select, please contact us for assistance.

Can I return a frame if it doesn't fit?
Any regular (non-prescription) frame can be returned for a full refund, minus the shipping cost, within 10 days of purchase. A frame returned within 30 days of purchase will result in a credit that can be applied to another purchase. With regards to swimming goggles, if you select a Stock Rx prescription option, the goggle is fully refundable if you are not happy with the fit. (We request that you try on the goggle at home and not in the pool.) Authentic Rx prescription orders are custom orders and are therefore not refundable.

How can I see how much the frame will cost with prescription lenses?
Pricing for the prescription option for a particular frame can be found by clicking "Add to Cart / View Rx Options" from the frame details page. In some cases, it will say to contact us for pricing so please call (877) 539-1775 or email us at info@AthleticOptics.com. If your prescription is greater than +/- 4.00 sphere, or +/- 2.00 cylinder, the website will tell you that this is a special order -- please contact us so we determin if the frame you've selected can accommodate your prescription and if there will be an extra charge for the high prescription.

Orders shipped from Athletic Optics originate in California and are shipped as follows:

Priority Mail
All orders will be shipped via US Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation unless otherwise requested. Delivery time is usually 2-4 days (including Saturday) from the shipping date. Price: $5.99
Fed Ex 2 Day
Delivery time is 2 business days (ie: orders shipped on Monday will be delivered on Wednesday; orders shipped Thursday will be delivered Monday). Price: $18.99
Fed Ex Overnight
This selection will reduce transit time to one business day. Packages will be delivered the next business afternoon. Price: $37.99

CANADA
Priority Mail
All orders will be shipped via US Global Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. Delivery time is 4 - 6 days from the shipping date. Price: $19.99
Express Mail International
This selection will reduce the transit time to 2 - 3 days from the shipping date. Price: $29.99

INTERNATIONAL
For all orders outside the US and Canada, please e-mail us at info@AthleticOptics.com with your shipping address and we will respond with the appropriate shipping charge for your country. Please note that you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country.
