Trivex is 16% lighter and 60 times more impact resistant than CR-39 with a greater optical clarity, is 10% lighter than polycarbonate and offers 100% UV protection. You can get more information about NTX Trivex at www.nxt-vision.com Whereas in the past, the Serengeti Glass lenses were offered in Progressive prescriptions, that is no longer the case. Serengeti Glass lenses are now only offered in Single Vision prescriptions. The new NXT/Trivex lenses are available in either Single Vision or Progressive prescriptions. Please note that the rimless models have an extra cost for the special lens edging/drill mount that’s required to put prescription lenses into these frames (see below).

- Mirror Coating: $50
SPECIAL LENS EDGING/DRILL MOUNT The following models have an additional $55 charge for the special lens edging/drill mount required: Altura, Mare, Piers, Nuvola and Nuvino. To make progressive lenses, a measurement called the segment height is needed. This value can only be obtained by measuring the frame as you’re wearing it. Therefore, you either need to find the frame locally to have the segment height measured, or we can send you a sample frame, which you would bring to a local optical shop to have the segment height measured (you would pay the round trip shipping charges for the sample). Please contact us to order Progressive prescriptions since our online form does not have the proper fields for bifocal information. Please note prescription lenses are custom orders and are NOT REFUNDABLE.
